Your first getaway

  1. Choose the Base Campaign and open your first case. Cases 1–8 are free; later cases and After Hours require the full unlock.
  2. Slide blocks into open space and through exits with matching shapes.
  3. Clear every block before lockdown, or use the Planning Room to explore without a timer.

Common questions

What devices can I use?

iPhone and iPad require iOS or iPadOS 17 or later and use portrait gameplay. iPhone Duo requires iOS 27.1 or later. Its outer display plays in portrait. Inner landscape keeps the board on the right page and the case file and clock on the left. Flat inner portrait centers the board; a partial portrait fold pauses and asks you to open flat or turn sideways.

What is free, and what does the purchase unlock?

Try Base Campaign cases 1–8 free, including timed play and the Planning Room. One permanent $2.99 US purchase unlocks all 30 Base Campaign cases and all 30 After Hours cases. Other storefront prices are localized by Apple. After Hours is included in the same purchase. There are no ads, subscriptions, paid hints, in-game currency or tokens.

How do I restore the full unlock?

Choose Restore purchases in the unlock offer or Settings, using the Apple Account that bought the unlock. Purchase and restoration require an internet connection. Restoring access does not restore stars or saved progress, which stay on the device. For billing or refunds, use Apple’s purchase support.

Do I need internet or an account?

Available cases play offline without a Streamr account. Buying or restoring the full unlock and optional Game Center use Apple services and need an internet connection. Game Center is opened from Records and is not required for gameplay.

How do I move a block?

Touch a piece and slide it up, down, left or right. Make room by rearranging neighboring pieces, then guide each block through an exit showing the same shape. Pieces keep their orientation, cannot rotate and cannot push others.

Why is an exit locked?

Hold an exit to see its current status. It may need more completed moves, held pressure plates, or both. Release your finger to dismiss the explanation. The countdown continues while inspecting an exit.

How do pressure plates work?

Fully cover a plate with another piece to hold its linked shutter open. Any piece shape can hold a plate. Hatched circles labelled A, B and C identify plates on the board and at exits; a check mark shows an activated plate. Move-count requirements use a separate move symbol. Multiple plate requirements must be satisfied together.

Can I play without a timer or undo a move?

Use the Planning Room to explore without a timer and undo moves. Practice does not award stars or unlock the next case. Cases 1–8 are available in the trial; paid cases need the full unlock in both modes.

What happens when I pause, fold Duo or close the app?

The upper-right three-dot options menu pauses the game and offers resume, confirmed restart, quit and sound controls. A manual pause limits that timed run to one star. Duo hinge or display changes automatically pause time and audio, release held input and preserve the same attempt and star eligibility. Display-interrupted runs do not submit timed records. Saved games can be continued on the same device.

How do I adjust sound or visual effects?

Open Game options or Settings for music and effects toggles and separate volume controls. Settings also offers Reduced Motion and stronger piece patterns.

Can I move progress between devices?

Campaign progress, stars and saved games stay on the device. Restore purchases restores the paid unlock using Apple, rather than synchronizing progress. Apple device backups may preserve local app data.

How do I report a problem?

Email support@streamr.mobi with your device, OS and app version, campaign/case, and the steps that caused the problem. A screenshot can help. Avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
