Your gameplay stays on your device. PlayBetween has no player accounts, advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs. Streamr does not collect gameplay or player profiles through the app. Apple processes the optional in-app purchase and purchase restoration, as described below.
About this policy
This policy describes the privacy practices of PlayBetween for iPhone and iPad, provided by Streamr. This version covers the upcoming release with saved games and an optional one-time game unlock; earlier builds may not include these features. It applies only to PlayBetween. Other apps in the Streamr family may work differently and will have their own privacy policies.
This is an app privacy policy. It does not describe the operation of the Streamr website or third-party services you choose to use.
Information on your device
PlayBetween stores game preferences, local statistics such as scores, and unfinished game states in the app’s storage on your device. This lets you resume a game later. This gameplay information is used locally and is not sent to Streamr or to other parties by the app.
Deleting the app removes its local data. Offloading the app may preserve that data. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings; backups are managed separately through your device or Apple account.
Offline play
All games are played by two people sharing one device. PlayBetween does not connect to game servers, provide online multiplayer, or transmit gameplay information. No login or internet connection is required to play.
If you choose to open a support or privacy link, your browser or email app handles that action separately. Visiting a website or sending an email may require an internet connection.
In-app purchases
Tic-Tac-Toe and Drop 4 are free. An optional one-time purchase unlocks the other four games. The app uses Apple’s App Store services to show the purchase, process payment, verify access, and restore a previous purchase. Buying or restoring requires an internet connection; gameplay remains offline.
Apple processes account, payment, and transaction information under its own privacy policy. PlayBetween checks Apple-provided transaction information on your device to determine which games are unlocked. The app does not send that information to a Streamr server, and Streamr does not receive your payment card details through the app. Apple may provide developers with purchase, refund, and sales reports. When you contact support
If you email support@streamr.mobi, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message or attachments. We use that correspondence to respond to your request and help resolve the issue.
This is information you send voluntarily, separate from the app’s operation. Please include only the details needed to explain the problem.
Apple services and beta testing
Apple operates the App Store, device backup services, and TestFlight. Information Apple processes through those services is governed by Apple’s terms, privacy information, and your settings.
When you test a beta through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares them with the app developer. Apple also shares feedback you choose to submit. Depending on how you join the beta and what you submit, this information may include your name, email address, and device details.
Streamr uses beta feedback and diagnostics received through TestFlight to investigate issues and improve PlayBetween. This is separate from the app’s offline gameplay. Children’s privacy
PlayBetween does not collect gameplay or player profiles from children or other players. It does not include player accounts, advertising, or tracking. Optional purchases are handled by Apple as described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to PlayBetween or its privacy practices. The effective date above identifies the current version. Any policy changes for other Streamr apps do not change this policy’s scope.
